My work in books has been varied! I've been contracted by Legacy Press Books and several independent authors to help them accomplish their self-publishing pursuits! I've done editing and proofreading work, plus I've done design and illustration work, which is pictured below.
For the design work, the books shown here included interior text layout and cover design, plus adapted layouts for ebook. For the illustration projects, I drew these in Procreate and finished digitally by adding all text and creating the cover designs.
Bleeding Heart Confetti was a complete design project.
I was contracted by Legacy Press Books to design the full cover and the full interior layout.
I also designed the ebook.

Mama Moon was my second children's book illustration project. This was such a sweet and special project which I was honored to be a part of. I was hired by Nicole Morgan to surprise her husband, Connor, with a published book based on a poem that he'd written for her and their little girls.
I illustrated the book in Procreate and did all of the text layout and cover design.

Life on the Farm at Eight was my first children's book illustration project. After working solely on book design, layout, and editing, this was a fun, new type of project for me. It had originally been written and hand-drawn by Timothy Rouse for a college project, and as a surprise gift, his wife hired me to re-illustrate it and had it published. All of my illustrations are digital recreations of his original colored pencil drawings. I also laid out the text and digitally finished it.
I worked with Legacy Press Books and Timothy's wife, Monica, to help her self-publish it on Amazon as a gift to him.
